amanda holistic nurse practitioner

Kind, calm and thorough, Amanda takes time to listen to patients and enjoys helping them determine the root cause of their health concerns. From a young age, she knew healthcare was her calling, but a “God moment” while touring colleges her senior year in high school inspired her to pursue nursing.

Amanda obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan and completed a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Saint Louis University. Her career includes eight years of bedside nursing and eight years as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

No matter her role, Amanda’s focus has always been to meet patients where they are and deliver high quality patient-centered care to each of them. Thus, she fit right in with CIPC’s personalized, functional-integrative model.

“I thoroughly enjoy getting to know my patients inside and out, as well as having the ability to devote the time to help them reach their individual health goals using holistic, evidence-based practices.”

Amanda loves spending time with her husband, family and friends. She enjoys cooking and baking, movies, music, books, attending the theatre and comedy shows, and traveling back to her hometown of Chicago, Illinois to visit. She’s an avid Chicago sports fan—go Cubs! The best advice she ever got—which had great impact on her life and career—was from a close friend who said, “We are called to love. We may not always understand or like something, but we are called to love one another as Jesus did.”
