Essential oils get the job done and “smell clean”, not harsh! In our office, we love Thieves® Household Cleaner and other essential oils by Young Living™. They can be mixed with water and other household ingredients to make any type of all-natural cleaner you need.
As you clean house for the holiday season, start replacing chemical-containing cleaners with natural options. It’s easy to switch to cleaning with essential oils! You can replace some of the most common chemical-containing products in your home with one all-purpose natural product: Thieves® Household Cleaner.
Cleaning with Essential Oils Using Thieves® Household Cleaner
Recipes and Instructions:
All-purpose cleaner: 1 capful Thieves® Household Cleaner with 2-3 cups water. Spray on surface liberally and wipe clean.
Heavy degreaser: 1 capful Thieves® Household Cleaner and 1 cup water. Apply to surface. Gently rub with cloth to remove surface grease. Wipe area with clean, wet cloth.
Glass and mirror cleaner: 3 cups water, 1 tsp vinegar, 1 capful Thieves® Household Cleaner (you can also add 5 drops of any citrus oil – lemon, orange, grapefruit). Spray surface liberally and wipe clean with a lint-free cloth.
Wood floor cleaner: 1 capful Thieves® Household Cleaner, 1 cup olive oil (you can also add 5 drops of any citrus oil – lemon, orange, grapefruit). Use a damp (not wet) cloth and apply evenly to floors.
Carpet spot cleaner: 6 cups water, 1 capful Thieves® Household Cleaner. Spray spot with solution and blot with clean cloth. Repeat as needed.
